What is a trip to Argentina, without a visit to Buenos Aires ? Our first stop, will be in this historic city referred to as “The Paris of South America.” Here we will consume all the cultural elements within the city, for 2 days, before heading south east to Mar del Plata.
January is the hottest month in Buenos Aires with an average temperature of 25°C (76°F). Great for sport and the beach experience.
2.Mar del Plata
Mar del Plata is an Argentine city in the southeast part of Buenos Aires Province located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the head of General Pueyrredón Partido. Mar del Plata is the second largest city in Buenos Aires Province. The name “Mar del Plata” has the meaning of “sea of the Plate region” or “adjoining sea to the (River) Plate region”. Mar del Plata is one of the major fishing ports and the biggest seaside beach resort in Argentina. With a population of 614,350 as per the 2010 census [INDEC], it is the 7th largest city in Argentina.
The warm season lasts from December 11 to March 4 with an average daily high temperature above 24°C. The hottest day of the year is January 14, with an average high of 27°C and low of 15°C.
